Twitter seems to bring out sides of celebrities, fans might not otherwise see. Singer Daniel Merriweather was apparently annoyed at Kid Cudi’s behavior inside of a New York City club over the weekend, so he took to the social media site to air out the rapper.
After first simply writing, “Cudi #douchbag [sic],” the Roc Nation crooner later added, “This ‘kid’ was pushin’ people around last night then relying on security for things…Man thinks he’s a lion when reliance on real fugs is required.”
“…step out from behind the security next time instead of starting something then hiding away bro,” he continued. “[I’ve] got 2 hands and 2 feet #Stomp.”
Cudi responded to the Australian, tweeting, “Ok Dan, next time friend. Promise on my dad’s grave.”
Merriweather released his debut album, Love & War, back in 2009 in the UK and with help from the project’s singles Change and Red, the album peaked at the number two spot on the UK Albums chart. He has toured with the likes of Kanye West, Biz Markie, Justin Timberlake, Mark Ronson, and Corinne Bailey Rae.
Cudi released his sophomore album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, last year, and is currently prepping for the release of his third LP, Wizard, which will be rock-inspired.
