Eminem Was Paid How Much To Appear In A Commercial For The Super Bowl?

Eminem will pull in more than $1 million to appear in a Lipton Brisk iced-tea commercial set to air during the Super Bowl this year, according to the New York Post.  The Detroit rapper, who will be a claymotion character during the short clip, will reportedly take viewers through a day in his life.

Eminem is still riding high off of his success in 2010. The Aftermath rapper released his seventh studio album, Recovery, in June and the record went on to sell over three million copies in the US alone and was the top-selling album for 2010 according to Nielsen SoundScan. His label Shady Records has added Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf to the roster and he is featured on Dr. Dre’s latest Detox single I Need A Doctor.

Rocker Ozzy Osbourne, actor Danny Trejo, and late crooner Frank Sinatra have all appeared in previous Lipton Brisk commercial spots.

Super Bowl XLV will take place on February 6 in Arlington, Texas and will feature the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. The Black Eyed Peas have been chosen to handle the half-time entertainment and Justin Beiber in addition to Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are slated to appear in commercials as well.
