2 Chainz may have only recently dropped his debut solo album Based on a T.R.U. Story, but he's already at work on the follow-up. During an interview with MTV News, Tity Boi revealed that he's already got three "dope" songs in the can for his sophomore LP, which he hopes to hand over to Def Jam in April 2013.
"I'm trying to turn in my album by April of next year," he said. "It won't come out then but I'm at least trying to turn it in and set up for more tours because we enjoy doing live shows, so be looking out for more of that from the crew."
He also said that the next video he'll release off of B.O.A.T.S. will be for "I'm Different." "I'm shooting 'I'm Different' real soon," he said. "I wrote the treatment for that and I'm really excited to continue pushing the envelope and giving the fans something to see, some excitement again, really building that curiosity up with hip-hop again — I'm happy to be one of the frontrunners for that campaign."
