Flo Rida Escapes Jail After Striking Plea Deal In DUI Offence

Flo Rida has escaped serving a jail sentence for a DUI offence after managing to strike a deal with the judge.

The rapper was arrested back in June when he was caught driving in a reckless manner in his millon-dollar Bugatti. When police breathalised him, they found Flo was more than twice the US' legal limit.

Flo's attorney appeared in court yesterday and managed to persuade the judge to allow the rapper to take part in a program called "Back On Track," which includes substance abuse classes, counseling, community service and drug testing.

According to TMZ, if Flo completes his duties without fail, his charge will be knocked down to the lesser charge of reckless driving.
