Apple has unveiled its highly anticipated latest iteration of its popular iPad device, the iPad 2.
The new device is scheduled to be released on March 11 and will start at $499 for the entry-level WiFi only version and $629 for the 3G enabled version.
However, if you’re wondering if it makes sense to upgrade from your current version of the device take a look at the new specs below:
- It’s 33% thinner than the original iPad (thinner than iPhone 4)
- Comes in a new white colorway
- Has a faster A5 processor (2 times faster than the old processor)
- More memory
- Two cameras, which allows for FaceTime video conferencing
- Ships with a built-in gyroscope, like the iPhone 4
- HDMI mirrored video output at 1080p (full HD playback)
