A Texas couple decided to use the name "Disturbing The Peace" for their audio equipment and recording business, which we know is the name of Ludacris's record label.
Now Luda has filed a suit against Demetri and Donna Evans-Brown this month for illegally using the copyrighted name. This follows a lawsuit from that same couple claiming it's Ludacris who is infringing on their trademark phrase, "Disturb The Peace." However, now Ludacris claims that he's owned the copyright to DTP since 2003, and using the name will mislead customers into believing he is involved with them and their marketing campaign.
Ludacris has asked a judge to have the couple immediately stop using the trademark, while suing for damages and attorney's fees
