Plenty of ruckus broke out during the filming of the BET Awards. One of the more notable “stirrups” was the fight between MMG’s Gunplay and 50 Cent’s crew including members of G-Unit. Gunplay has been very open about the incident and has even been adamant that he has no intention of squashing the beef.
Unfortunately, for the Miami rapper, all the media attention has made authorities take notice, and he has now had to turn himself in after a warrant for his arrest was issued.
The warrant is not connected to the incident at the BET Awards, as Angela Yee of The Breakfast Club reports that Gunplay has turned himself in for an old warrant related to armed robbery and assault charges.
As of now, it is unknown how much time he will face as sentencing has not yet happened, but being in the news for a fight, and following with threatening remarks cannot be good for his case.
