Gunplay Fights G-Unit Member, Gets Maced At BET Hip Hop Awards

His name might be Gunplay, but it turns out the Maybach Music rapper is pretty good with his hands. The 106 & Snort rapper reportedly gotten into an altercation with about five members of 50 Cent's entourage at the BET Hip Hop Awards that were taped in Atlanta this weekend. The video below, courtesy of World Star—who else?—showcases footage of Gunplay swinging on somebody supposedly from the G-Unit camp and getting pepper sprayed just as he was about to get some more licks in.

The clips is shaky with too much side commentary but it does reveal a few insights. First off, Gunplay was fighting solo, in front of cops; proving that he is clearly about that life. Secondly, out of all the people in the MMG entourage, why would you riff with a dude named Gunplay that has rapped candidly about sniffing coke? Finally, it's not a good look for Hip-Hop for shenanigans like these between grown men to he happening at an award show, period.

The incident seen here apparently occurred after the altercation between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy backstage while the BET Hip Hop Awards were being taped. Gunplay was reportedly detained by police, but not arrested. Watch the clip below.
