It looks the on-going feud between Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane is only going to get worse before it gets better. Not only did Gooch fire off a new diss aimed at his longtime nemesis earlier today, but apparently, he's taken potshots at fellow ATL rapper Yung Joc.
On the newly released song from Large On Da Streets 28, Gucci linked up with Jeezy's recent sparring partner Rick Ross for a not-so-subtly titled song "Respect Me." While Rozay's verse remains fairly low-key, Gucci takes direct shots at Jeezy, even recalling the fact that he shot and killing CTE associate Pookie Loc in 2005.
"Nigga gonna respect me, nigga best respect me/Ain't now way in Hell I'm let you disrespect me," Gucci chants on the chorus. "RPGs for your family 'cus your best friend tried to try me/Your rhyme game is so slimy, but all my niggas are grimy/My cover started firing - beefing over 'So Icy.'"
Yet that's not the only diss Gucci's put out on the market. According to AllHipHop, Gucci used his song "Fuck the World" off Trap God to throw jabs at both Yung Joc, who he claimed went broke, and Jeezy's former manager Kenneth “Block” Russell, whose deal with Bad Boy South went awry.
“I got all eyes on me like Pac did/But I ain’t tryin’ to go broke like Joc did/I ain’t tryin’ to fuck my deal up like Block did,” he raps.
So far, none of Gucci's recent targets have responded to his disses.
