Legendary Public Enemy rapper and hype man, and also star of a variety of reality shows, Flava Flav was arrested in Las Vegas after assaulting someone in his house during a heated argument.
Details are still murky, but TMZ reports that Flav, real name William Drayton Jr., was engaged in a loud verbal argument with a teenager in his house. Police officials say Flav’s fiancée was on hand, and she was the one who eventually called 911.
He was arrested around 3am local time after allegedly threatening someone in his home with a knife, and battering another person – yet details are unclear if Flav assaulted the teenager.
Flavor Flav is currently out on $23,000 bail after being booked on both felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence.
