Beef: Trey Songz & Ne-Yo Exchange Words!

This week, Ne-Yo visited The Breakfast Club and provided some constructive critisism for his R&B colleague, Trey Songz. Specifically, NeYo suggested that Trigga Trey lacked emotion. He explained:

“I’ve talked to Trey before. Trey’s one of them dudes that could be a serious problem if he decided to put that emotion in there. Just the emotional disconnect is there.”

Apparently, Trey heard about NeYo’s comments and seemed to be a bit perturbed by them. In an interview with KMEL in San Fransisco, he responded:

“I’ma talk to Ne-yo when I see him. It ain’t even that. The thing is that Ne-yo knows me. Ain’t no need to have that conversation for the world to hear, you know. And I feel like that’s a sucker move.”

He also says that NeYo never told him personally about his lack of emotion:

“It’s all good though. I’m a real nigga. They gon’ take shots.”
