Mariah Carey Joins American Idol, Gets 17 Milli A Season

Mariah Carey might be the newest judge and she reportedly will be signing a $17 million contract for one season. If the rumors are true she will be the highest paid judge, which is more than Jennifer Lopez who made $12 million her first season and $15 million her 2nd season and Britney Spears who signed on to do X Factor for $15 million. There is no further update on the rest of the judging panel but the rumored judges include: Nicki Minaj, Patti LaBelle, Katy Perry, Aretha Franklin, Miley Cyrus, Adam Lambert, Will.I.Am, and Fergie
