In a strange turn of events, female emcee Azealia Banks claimed she no longer wants to be a rapper and proceeded to delete her Twitter account.
She's stayed in the news because of her publicized beefs with Iggy Azalea and T.I., as well as with Lil Kim, which may have influenced her decision to delete Twitter.
Before deleting her Twitter, she left her followers with this explanation:
no longer wishing to be a rapper.i never was…. and as soon as i started paying attention to bullshit urban media, i started getting myself in trouble. From now on i’m a vocalist, and will not be associating myself with the “rap game”… or whatever the f*ck that means…no more twitter for me… it makes me entirely too accessible. Catch me on tumblr… it’ll be more interesting.
Supposedly Banks also took shots at her former manager, Troy Carter, who is also Lady Gaga's manager with these tweets: "I know who you are yes...You short bald man...I know you planted these false stories...Guess what?: I'm still not going to let you manage me again. I've dealt with enough cyber bullying to see right [sic] thru this."
