More than a month after her passing, Whitney Houston's official cause of death has been revealed.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office has determined the official cause of Houston's death was "drowning and effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine use."

It has been reported that her death was ruled an accident. Whitney Houston was found in a bathtub in her Beverly Hills hotel room on February 11th. Although the coroner's office has ruled it an accident, the toxicology report adds, "Cocaine and metabolites were identified and were contributory to the death. Marijuana, Alprazolam (Xanax), Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) were identified but did not contribute to the death."

Prescription pill bottles were found in Houston's room after her passing, but officials say the number of pills were, "not in alarming amounts."
