He shared his thoughts on Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was killed last month,
"You never want to hear that kind of news," Nas told Angie. "When it happens, you remember how many Trayvon incidents happen everyday all over the world. ...It doesn't seem like the race problem will ever get solved. I like to be optimistic, but it doesn't seem like it'll ever get solved."
Nas wore a hoodie during the interview in memory of Trayvon, "That's a sickness that needs healing, that this guy Zimmerman is dealing with, and all the Zimmermans around the world. They're dealing with a self-hatred, ignorant, sickness. They're living in fear. So I'm rocking a hoodie for my man."
He also spoke on his collab with Tyga, "Kings & Queens," off Tyga's album.
"I like to see artists flossin'. I like to see them make big records and go throw money in the clubs, and buy new chains. I just like People livin' their life and being happy."
He explains how his daughter took part in the decision for him to get on that track,
"My daughter's like, 'Yo, Tyga's that dude.' And I know 'Rack City' is my joint. So I'm like, okay, Tyga call? I'm on my album."
"That was [my daughter's] call. I like him, but that was her call."
