British “Brisco” Mitchell will avoid jail and probation after reaching a plea deal Friday (March 23) for charges of misdemeanor battery.
The charges stemmed from a June 2011 incident involving a former business associate, who alleged that Brisco assaulted him in the parking lot of an apartment building.
The following month, Brisco was charged with aggravated battery.
According to North Miami police, Brisco showed up at Giovanni Nagy’s residence in the early morning of June 30th, after threatening Nagy through text messages.
Nagy’s mother got in between the two men, but the alteration turned into a scuffle, which Nagy’s mom captured on her camera phone.
According to reports Brisco knocked the 18-year-old unconscious.
Brisco was ordered to have no violent contact with the victim and he must also enter anger management classes.
