Philadelphia Rapper Tommy Hill, of the R.A.M. Squad was shot and killed over the weekend. Born John Wilson, Hill was shot sometime Late Thursday/Early Friday Morning, exiting Rueben's Marc, a bar located on 8201 Stenton Ave. Hill later died from his wounds. Robbery was believed to have been the motive, but Hill had an extensive criminal background, in addition to alleged Mob ties. The Richard Allen Mob (R.A.M.), was known throughout the Philadelphia area, with albums like Operation Lock The City (1996), and Thee Album Regardless(1997). Their major label debut came in 2001, with the album Random Access Money, on Universal Records. Hill attempted to make a comeback by taking aim at fellow Philadelphia MC, Beanie Sigel, but seemingly fell on deaf ears. Hill was 36.
