Da Brat Is FREE!

Back in 2008 Rapper Da Brat was sentenced to three years behind bars, seven years of probation and 200 hours of community service for striking a woman in the face with a rum bottle. The October 2007 incident at an Atlanta-area nightclub left the victim's face permanently scarred.

Jermaine Dupri has informed the innanets that Da Brat is FREE!

Da Brat has stepped from behind those prison bars today and is home after a 2.5 year stint, she'll still be on probation for 7 years. 

After serving 2.5 of her 3 year sentence in prison for going upside a club waitress' head with a bottle, Da Brat's good friend Jermaine Dupri tweeted that she's now back home in Atlanta and free as a bird.
