Public Enemy emcee Flavor Flav is the latest Hip Hop star to venture into memoir. Since Jay-Z's Decoded released last month, memoirs have been announced by Q-Tip, Prodigy, Benzino and a new work by Ice-T. According to Amazon, Flav's work, titled Icon, will release on March 1, 2011 through Farrah Gray Books.

Although known in the last decade for his role in Vh1 "Celebreality" shows such as Flavor of Love and The Surreal Life, the 51 year-old is known for his hype-man and rapping role in Public Enemy. In 2006, Flav released his solo debut, also called Flavor of Love.
