Nelly to star in Fitness DVD

multi-platinum rapper Nelly will be first up to be featured in a new line of workout DVDs entitled, Celebrity Sweat, coming out this fall. Featuring workouts taught by well-known athletes and celebrities the DVD will attempt to bridge the gap between popular culture and fitness.

Nelly who has always been active in the gym and in sports told St. Louis Today that since he began seriously working out, doing a fitness video has been an aspiration of his.

"I wanted to do it right, in a way that's believable. It's not like I'm a gym instructor, and I'm not trying to teach a class I don't have a degree in. But I wanted to do something people could believe and follow."
