Capone Arrested For Unpaid Child Support

Add another name to the (alleged) “unpaid child support list.” Capone, of the rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga, was arrested at his home in New Jersey Wednesday (Sept. 5), for failing to pay his child's mother for the last eight years.

Capone, born Kiam Holley, racked up a tab of more than $160,000, for skipping out on child support for his 12-year-old daughter. He hasn't made his court ordered monthly fee of $1,500 since 2004, and has only shelled out a total of $144 in the years since.

After being taken into custody, Capone was released on a $10,000 bond, and offered up a reason behind why he hasn't made the payments. “It is what it is,” he said. “I know it looks bad on paper, but I take care of my daughter.”

Although he was released on his own recognizance, a judge restricted his travel abilities. The 35-year-old is now only allowed to go to New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

As a member of the Queens group, Capone and his rap partner were signed to Penalty Records in 1996. They released four albums, the last of which was 2010's The War Report 2: Report the War. Last year, N.O.R.E. announced the end of Capone-N-Noreaga, via Twitter.
