Legendary DJ Mister Cee has backed everyone from Notorious B.I.G. to Big Daddy Kane on the wheels of steel, but now he's in the spotlight on serious charges. The WQHT Hot 97 personality was arrested for lewd sexual conduct last week following an incident where NYPD officers happened upon the 44-year-old receiving fellatio from another man inside a parked vehicle.
Cee, whose real name has been widely reported as both Calvin Laburn and Calvin Lebrun, was reportedly engaged in the sexual act with an unnamed 20-year-old. After policemen happened upon the exchange last Wednesday at 4:05PM, they brought Mister Cee into Manhattan's 1st Precinct and booked him on the charges. While it was confirmed that Cee was arrested on charges last week, Hot 97 colleague Funkmaster Flex stated that the rumors are untrue.
"Earlier this evening, a rumor went viral through multiple social media platforms stating that Mr. Cee was arrested for committing a lewd act," wrote Flex via his website. "Please be advised this rumor is not true. Stating false allegations about somebody and presenting it as valid information is unethical. Please continue to listen to Mr. Cee everyday at noon Monday through Friday on Hot 97 and Hot97.com."
Since then, however, a spokesperson for the NYPD has confirmed the arrest to the media.
Mr. Cee made a name for himself beginning in the late '80s after appearing on Big Daddy Kane's classic debut 'Long Live the Kane.' Since then, he helped launch Notorious B.I.G.'s career and served as Associate Executive Producer on the fallen rapper's 1994 debut 'Ready to Die.' He currently can be heard spinning on New York City's Hot 97 radio station for his daily 'Throwback at Noon' show.

Why is Flex so protective of Cee? The policereports are out so ther's no way in hell this one can be denied...
probably because he is cool with Mr Cee or at the very least a good co-worker and he made his statement before the police took an official stance on the arrest, as the article says. So the report wouldn't have been out there yet.
hes protectin him cause birds of a feather flock together
