Shortly after Nate Dogg unexpectedly passed away last month, his financial troubles came around full circle.

According to TMZ, the G-funk pioneer's home was foreclosed upon -- just two days after he died from stroke complications -- after he and his family failed to make mortgage payments on his Pomona, Calif. residence.

The 41-year-old, whose real name is Nathaniel Hale, had lapsed on his monthly payments to the point of $5,924.12, with reports claiming that he hadn't paid since December 2010. Accounts from neighbors show he had not been living in his Pomona home for about a year and a half, but used to write and record music in his residence and entertain guests including Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams.

The smooth-voiced crooner passed away on March 15 several years after suffering from multiple strokes. The cause of death was attributed to complications from the strokes, which had left him with memory loss and the inability to speak. Several memorials and tributes have been held since he passed including a public funeral in Long Beach last month and a memorial benefit hosted by DJ Quik.
