This news comes just days after the FBI released a 359-page document surrounding the death of rapper Chistopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace.

In the 102-page document outlining Shakur's murder, the report states: "Tupac Amaru Shakur (1971-1996) was an American rap music artist.

This release consists of a 1997 investigation into allegations that extortionate death threats had been made against Shakur and another rap artist by a domestic terrorist group."

The domestic terrorist group reported as the Jewish Defense League, is believed to have participated in an extortion scheme against Shakur, N.W.A. rapper Eazy-E, who died from AIDS in 1995, and other rap artists.

Despite the JDL being named in the FBI reports, a direct relation to the organization and the murder of Shakur has not been made.

2Pac was shot and killed in Las Vegas in September of 1996 at the age of 25.
